LIVE UP

TO THE MAN YOU WERE MEANT TO BE.

Four days. Three nights. One deliberate interruption from ordinary life

DECEMBER 3-6, 2026
ROYAL CREEK RANCHES

You don’t need to be broken. You don’t need your life to be falling apart, and you don’t need another seminar telling you how to be more productive, successful, or motivated. You may simply need enough distance from the noise to hear yourself think again.

Somewhere between building a career, paying the bills, raising a family, being a husband and father, solving problems, answering messages, meeting expectations, and being the person everyone else counts on, it becomes surprisingly easy to lose sight of yourself. Not because you stopped caring, but because you never stopped carrying.

LIVE UP is a four-day experience at Royal Creek Ranch created for men ready to step away from ordinary life long enough to reconnect with what matters most and decide how they want to live when they return.

Not MAN UP. Not toughen up. Not measure up. LIVE UP—to your values, your potential, your commitments, the people you love, and the man you were meant to be.

YOU’RE DOING FINE.
BUT IS “FINE” REALLY THE GOAL?

Maybe you’re successful. People count on you. You provide, solve problems, lead, and show up. From the outside, there may be absolutely nothing wrong. But when was the last time you had enough space to seriously ask, How am I really doing?

Not your business, your calendar, your kids, or your bank account. You.

When did you last think deeply about the man you’ve become and the man you’re still becoming? When did you intentionally examine your health, marriage, friendships, finances, faith, priorities, purpose, and future?

Men become remarkably good at carrying careers, families, mortgages, teams, expectations, pressure, decisions, and other people’s needs. Most men simply keep moving because that’s what good men do. But carrying something well doesn’t mean it isn’t heavy.

Sometimes strength means pushing forward. Sometimes strength means stopping long enough to make sure you’re still headed where you intended to go. LIVE UP creates that space—not to escape your life, but to see it more clearly.

GOOD MEN CAN STILL GET BETTER.

You can have hundreds of contacts in your phone and still have very few people you really talk to. You can be successful and still have questions. You can love your family and realize they may not always be getting the best of you. You can have faith and still need to look up. You can have a great life and still want to live it better.

LIVE UP is not about fixing broken men. It is about helping good men become more intentional men—men who know what matters, know where they are going, and return home more present, connected, and deliberate about the life they are building.

This experience creates room for honest conversation, meaningful challenge, reflection, and connection without judgment, comparison, or pretense. It gives you the opportunity to step back far enough to see what is working, what needs attention, and what you want the next season of your life to look like.

FOUR DAYS TO REMEMBER WHY YOU’RE DOING ANY OF IT.

Royal Creek Ranch is not about escaping responsibility. It is about remembering why the responsibility matters.

For four days, step away from the meetings, notifications, deadlines, errands, routines, and constant inputs and replace them with nature, challenge, brotherhood, reflection, conversation, movement, faith, and purpose.

This is not four days sitting in a conference room listening to people talk about life. You will experience it through time outdoors, physical challenges, honest conversations, quiet reflection, shared meals, time around the fire, and moments where nobody needs anything from you.

You will have room to think, question, reconnect, and decide what deserves more of you when you return home.

ART COOMBS

Art is an entrepreneur, author, and speaker who believes he can fit 30 hours into a 24-hour day.

Twenty-six years ago, Art founded KomBea with the idea that technology should make people better, not replace them. His work has focused on blending HI (human intelligence) with AI (artificial intelligence), although he’ll tell you “artificial intelligence” is an oxymoron. Intelligence must be intentional. But that’s another speech.

Art wrote Don’t Just Manage, LEAD!, Human Connection, Hard Easy, Hard Easy Work Book, and The Ruby Rule, and he’s finishing his sixth book about his great-grandfather and the controversy surrounding his place in LDS history.

When he’s not running a company or writing, Art builds guitars and makes plenty of mistakes. He says every guitar is a little like raising a kid: there’s always a problem, he’s usually the reason for it, and then he has to fix it well enough for the guitar to leave home and hopefully make some beautiful music.

Mostly, Art is a husband, dad, grandpa, aspiring luthier, and lifelong student of people. He’s spent his career building things, screwing some of them up, and occasionally being smart enough to learn from it. And somewhere in the middle of all of it is Barbie, the love of his life, who keeps him grounded, keeps him laughing, and, according to Art, has probably kept him out of jail more than once.

MATT HERRINGTON

Matt is the founder of BUILD, a coaching and consulting company known for building leaders. As well as the co-host of The Everyday Leader Podcast

Matt believes people are more capable than they’ve been told. Most of what holds us back isn’t our circumstances. It’s the story we’re telling about who we are.

He learned that early. Matt grew up on a farm in Safford, Arizona, the only boy in a family of eight kids (yes, seven sisters). On a farm, you learn quickly that nothing grows by accident. You plant on purpose, you tend what matters, and you take responsibility for the harvest.

He carried that into everything. With degrees in Animal Science, he spent years in the cattle industry. He invented the HandyVac, a product still used by ranchers today, and built a cattle business from the ground up. But the most important thing he learned in those years was this: he’d rather grow people than cattle.

As a believer and follower of Jesus Christ, his view is simple. Leadership isn’t a title. It’s a way of being. Culture is either designed or it defaults. And the words you use don’t just describe your reality, they create it.

Matt doesn’t hand people a formula. He helps them see who they already are and clear out whatever is standing in the way.

What matters most to him happens at home. Matt and his wife, Kelsey are raising four kids, McCoy, Haddie Ray, Millie, and Martie, in the same spirit he brings to his work: believe in people, love them well, and create on purpose.

MITCH PEARSON

Mitch Pearson has spent more than 25 years developing people and building teams across mining, manufacturing, and nuclear energy. Most of that time has been spent around men who were taught that strength means handling it alone. Mitch knows that pattern from the inside, and he has spent years working through his own battles rather than around them.

About a decade ago, he began bringing a Highway Patrol peer support team and organizations like NAMI into large annual training events, giving employees permission to talk honestly about what they were carrying and to support one another.

In February 2024, that work became deeply personal when Mitch and his wife, Adella, lost their 16-year-old son, Michael, to suicide. Michael was loved, connected, and surrounded by people. His loss taught Mitch that connection is no guarantee, and also that facing hard things alone is always worse. Out of that, the family started the FlyLikeMike Foundation, which delivers HeartBoxes to families in the first days after a loss and offers honest, practical education on mental health for youth, men, and parents.

Mitch’s message to men is simple: your struggles are yours to work on, but they were never meant to be carried alone. Living up to the man you want to be includes letting other men in.

Mitch is the proud father of Addie, Lilly, and Michael, and “Papa” to Wesley and August.

KIRK WEISLER- LIVE-UP Leader & Host

Leadership expert. Army Ranger. Culture builder. Student of men.

And – Your LIVE UP Event Leader and Host

Kirk Weisler has spent much of his life studying what causes people to rise—to take ownership, build meaningful lives, strengthen the people around them, and live closer to their potential.

His own journey began in the U.S. Army, where he served four years on active duty as an Army Ranger, followed by eight years with the 19th Special Forces Group, including service connected to its chaplaincy. Those years shaped his understanding of brotherhood, discipline, service, sacrifice, and what happens when men hold one another to a higher standard.

Early in his civilian career, Kirk helped create more than 1,000 jobs in just two years, giving him a front-row seat to the transformative power of meaningful work, responsibility, opportunity, and belief.

For more than 25 years since, he has devoted his professional life to leadership, culture, and human performance, working with more than 2,000 organizations and over 100,000 leaders around the world. His work has taken him inside some of the world’s most respected organizations, helping leaders build cultures where people take greater ownership for who they are, how they show up, and the impact they have on others.

But four years ago, Kirk became a student again.  He attended his first men’s program.

Since then, he has participated in more than 30 men’s experiences led by 15 different founders, facilitators, and visionaries—each with different methods, language, and philosophies, but with a remarkably similar purpose: Help men LIVE UP to their potential.

Kirk didn’t enter those rooms looking for a program to copy. He entered them curious about what men are hungry for, what they are wrestling with, what helps them reconnect with themselves, and what actually creates lasting change after they go home.

LIVE UP grew from those experiences—and from a lifetime spent studying leadership, culture, brotherhood, purpose, and human potential.  It isn’t about becoming more of a man.  It’s about becoming more of the man you already know you can be.

To step away long enough to look in.  To have the courage to look up.  To get clear enough to look forward.  And then to go home and LIVE UP—in your faith, your fitness, your finances, your family, your friendships, and your freedom.

THE LIVE UP JOURNEY

The LIVE UP experience follows five intentional movements: Step Away, Look In, Look Up, Link Arms, and Live Up.

You begin by stepping away from ordinary life long enough to see it clearly. Then you look inward and take an honest inventory of what is working, where you may have drifted, what you are proud of, and what needs your attention. From there, you look up—toward faith, meaning, gratitude, purpose, God, and something greater than yourself.

You will also link arms with other good men who are asking many of the same questions. This is not about networking, posturing, or surface-level conversation. It is about genuine brotherhood and creating space for conversations men often do not make time to have.

Then comes the most important part: going home and living differently. Not with fifty new goals or another binder full of notes, but with greater clarity about what matters and the courage to act on it.

Live up to your values. Live up to your commitments. Live up to the people you love. Live up to the man you were meant to be.
